MAKING A DIFFERENCE WITH ONE SHARE/FOLLOW/LIKE

Hi guys, today's post is a little different. It is about GIVING BACK and I love to do just that. I am Nigerian (in case you didn't know) and it's children's day for us on May 27th and I was contacted by JUMIA with a lovely opportunity to give back. JUMIA is an online retail store for those living in Nigeria with basically EVERYTHING from fashion to electronics to books and even stuff for your home. They offered to donate N1 (One Naira) for every like on their facebook page and twitter which you can find on their website. This money goes to providing food for less privileged children in Nigeria. I know it seems very little but if everyone does a little bit of something, there will be a BIG change.
As at May 13 which is the day this commenced, they had already raised N5 877 and I would really appreciate if we helped them to raise more money so some kids can actually have the opportunity to actually feel like kids...

In support of that, there is a discount code for all those who want to shop at JUMIA when you use the code: ENG37APX

Have a lovely weekend guys

ULTIMATE FIXER

I recently started watching Scandal and I quite enjoy it. I like a particular phrase used a lot "whenever there is a problem, get Olivia Pope on it" because she will fix it. I made me really think and appreciate how much God is the ultimate fixer. I know we go to God for the big things like exams, job opportunities, cancer and all that big stuff but I wonder if we go to God for the little things. I'm a firm believer that if God can care about something so insignificant like the number of hair on my head, then He cares about the little things. Like God is so much bigger than any depression, loneliness and heartbreak you may feel and He cares about you right down to the little things. I just thought I should let you know that you don't have to go through whatever it is you're going through alone because God really cares about every little detail that makes you you.

I know I'm supposed to wear a gorgeous dress and have a "sexy" face but I really really cannot take myself that seriously so I spent the whole "photoshoot" period laughing so hard I could hardly get any correct shot but I tried my hardest. The wind was not my friend at all, it kept carrying my dress up and I kept fighting back. This dress has been sitting in  my wardrobe for months...I plan on sewing down the slit because I need to be comfortable and that slit doesn't really make me feel the most comfortable.

OJO MARUN LO KU...

Hi darlings, I have valid reasons for being gone. I'm currently writing my law finals. If you're wondering what my title means, it's Yoruba (my language) for "5 more days to go" which is exactly how much time I have left. I truly cannot wait to be done with exams and have a month to enjoy myself. So please bear with me for the time being and keep me in your prayers.

It's really one of those 'I can't be arsed days'. So I just threw on my most comfortable pair of jeans, a semi-loose tee, a blazer and heels. Yesterday was my photographer/homeboy/inherited younger brother's birthday and I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOTA
